6-8 November, The Harbour Promenade: Light up dark November with a light festival.
Fjord Oslo is a free art festival that transforms the Harbour Promenade into an outdoor exhibition of light, open to all. And this year – uniquely Covid-19 safe!
The festival is a social, powerful and inclusive experience of art and light, presenting a new international program of renowned artists, this celebration is a broad exploration of light art.
This year’s theme is Anthropocene, an idea of a new geological epoch in which human activity is considered to have a powerful impact on the planet and will leave a long-term signature on Earth.
As last year, Fjord Oslo will take place at Aker Brygge, City Hall Square and Akershusstranda by Akershus Castle.
All installations are continuously on display during opening hours.
Thanks to its dispersed outdoor setting, and the large size of the works on show, Fjord Oslo is a cultural event which can take place in Oslo while complying with the recommendations for social distancing.
Stay at home if you don’t feel in top shape, but otherwise wash hands often, keep 1 meter distance and come to our outdoor exhibition of light!
For more informasjon, see the festival's Facebook event page.
