Overview

Even though it might seem as if folk musicians play music exclusively from one place, music has always travelled, and traditions have influenced eachother.

Slåtter from Gaupdalen is a series of three musical albums. The first is traditional music from Estonia and newly composed music on the traditional Estonian style. The second is traditional music from the Norwegian region of Nord-Trøndelag, and new music in the same style. The third is new music in a nordic style.

Johanna-Adele Jüssi – fiddle, Christo Stangness – double bass, Bendik Lund Haanshus – guitar
