The year is 2065, and the New Hjorten Theatre has suffered the same fate as the original Hjorten Theatre did a hundred years earlier. It’s been converted into a care home. For the theatre’s aging stars – led by Bones, Løseth, and Havdal – it’s no longer Saturday all week. They’re stuck in a grey routine of brown gravy, meatballs, fruit cordial, and old folk songs. The champagne and oysters are long gone, and the applause has fallen silent.

But one day, they revolt. The gang who once turned ordinary people into the elite has no intention of dying quietly. In a musical firecracker, they break the sound barrier once more and take a stand against routines, rules, dull prejudices – and finally, against death itself.
