The Polish star pianist Grzegorz Niemczuk held a fantastic Chopin concert in Storfjord Culture House in February 2018. The enthusiastic and enthusiastic audience almost demanded to get him back. And when is he here again!
Grzegorz Niemczuk was born in Poland in 1985 and graduated from the Katowice Music Academy with the highest award. He has won many national and international music competitions: the first prize in the major Chopin competition in Warsaw in 2010 and the first prize in the international debut competition in Carnegie Hall in New York in 2013. His latest award is a special award at the International Music Festival in Busan Maru in the South -Korea in October 2016
Everywhere Greg plays he is invited back. The main reason, of course, is that he is such an outstanding gifted and skilled pianist, but also because he is such a nice boy: friendly, open, outgoing, always smiling, enthusiastic, fond of people, modest and grateful for everything - loved and highly respected where than he comes.
Greg Niemczuk now has the whole world as an arena. He has played in every continent and in most European countries. But he is on two tours every year in Norway. This year's May tour goes to 9 cultural and concert halls in Western Norway. This shows that Greg Niemczuk is gaining an increasing foothold in Norway.
For the evening's program he has brought out a bunch of the most beautiful pieces of music from the two countries that mean most to him: Poland and Norway.
