Join Norwegian Maritime Museum and explore garbage through 500 years!

Norwegian Maritime Museum invite the whole family to take part in a small beach clean-up on the shore right outside the door of the museum. The findings will be brought into their own plastic workshop and their new exhibition "Discover the sea" where you will get to explore what have been found on the shore - what kind of rubbish is it and where does it come from? And what can be done to prevent rubbish from ending up in the sea? Together, you will learn more about plastic, the history of plastic and not least about the old rubbishthat is almost 500 years old!

Meeting place: The visitor center at the main entrance

Weather permitting, the activity will begin with beach cleaning right outside the museum. The event is for everyone who buys a ticket to the museum
