Gongbad: A meditative concert

Overview

Welcome to a magical experience in the Emanuel Vigeland Museum, with its amazing acoustic and atmosphere.

The gong is a very special instrument, rich in overtones. They make sounds unlike anything that most people have heard before, and may give you the experience of being in a timeless state. The Gong can be soothing, cleansing and healing. This concert will make use of several different gongs, with one big symphonic gong as a main instrument.

Between the gong playing, there will be music by flutist Patrick Vedlog and singer Grethe Midgaard Torrisen.

This is a meditative concert where you will be lying down (it is also possible to sit)

NB! Bring warm cloting and and blankets/sleeping bags, as the Emanuel Vigeland Mausoleum is relatively cold. There will be one meter between the audience members, as per the authorities' instructions.

There are 30 available tickets. Arrival 15-20 minutes before the concert starts is recommended.
