Greg Niemczuk has been visiting Storfjord Culture House for the past 2 years with increasing audience support. The concerts he holds have been "Chopin in words and sounds" and "From Poland to Norway - a musical journey". This time, Beethoven is on the program. https://youtu.be/sO2BhB6WbnI In 2020, 250 years have passed since Ludvig van Beethoven was born, and this anniversary will be celebrated throughout the world - even in Stranda, and Greg Niemczuk will of course mark this giant before classical music. Greg does this by bringing out some of Beethoven's most well-known and most popular works for piano. Although Greg is best known as a Chopin interpreter, he loves to play and interpret Beethoven. And the great German composer has a special place in Greg's heart. He has judged all Beethoven's piano concerts on his repertoire. Last fall, Greg was also a soloist in Beethoven's 5th Piano Concerto - "The Emperor Concert" - with a symphony orchestra in Ecuador. Although Greg toured and played the whole world around - especially in China, Japan and South America - he has gained great affection and love for Norway. In the 2019/2020 season, he conducts a total of 3 major tours in this country and together managed over 30 open concerts - in addition to school concerts and master classes. This makes Greg Niemczuk unofficial to the most touristic pianist in Norway. Greg is getting a bigger foothold, and everywhere he plays he is invited to attend. The main reason, of course, is that he is such an outstanding, generous and skilled pianist, but also because he is a nice guy: kind, open, outgoing, always smiling, excited, happy in person, smile and grateful for everything - love and highly respected than he comes.
