Edvard Grieg Vokalensemble (EGV) is Western Norway's leading professional vocal ensemble and is composed of eight permanent singers under the Musical Direction of Paul Robinson. Edvard Grieg Vokalensemble together with 8-24 regular guest singers also form the larger chamber choir, Edvard Grieg Kor (EGK) under the Musical Direction of Chief Conductor Edward Gardner OBE.  In addition to their busy performing schedule, EGV/EGK are also the professional core of the opera chorus for Bergen National Opera and the symphonic choir of the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra.

In recent years, Edvard Grieg Vokalensemble has achieved recognition both nationally and internationally through their performances with Bergen National Opera and Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra. The choir has won prestigious Gramophone awards, including 'Recording of the year' with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, and in 2023 made their debut at the BBC proms in the Royal Albert Hall, London. EGV has had a large catalogue of new works and arrangements composed especially for them by leading composers including Marianne Reidarsdatter Eriksen, Torstein Aagaard-Nilsen, Kim André Arnesen, Jonathan Rathbone, Roderick Williams and David Lang.  EGV collaborates regularly with other leading ensembles including Voces8, Barokkanerne, Manchester Camerata and Barokksolistene and has achieved critical acclaim for its recording on Chandos, 'Edvard Grieg Kor sings Grieg' . Edvard Grieg Vokalensemble is ensemble in residence at the at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, and also the resident ensemble at Troldhaugen, the home of Edvard Grieg.

The Edvard Grieg Choral Foundation (Stiftelsen Edvard Grieg Korene) is one of Norway's largest choral enterprises led by the two professional choirs Edvard Grieg Vocal Ensemble, and Edvard Grieg Kor. The foundation operates 7 children's choirs, with a total of more than 200 singers aged 6–26 participating in weekly rehearsals and a full performance schedule throughout the school year, giving young singers valuable opportunities to perform alongside professional singers, musicians, and conductors at the highest professional level.
