Hannah Aldridge is a young and talented artist from the american south. 30-year-old has the songs, is in the possession of a great voice and can safely be said to be heavily inherited. Her father, Walt Aldridge, is a Muscle Shoals-the legend with long experience in the Fame Recording Studio and also a highly respected Nashville songwriter, musician and producer.

Hannah grew up in Nashville and Muscle Shoals, two musikkmekkaer with rich traditions. In adolescence rehearsed her diligently with the goal to become a classical pianist. She first started to write own songs when she as 21-year-old lydteknikerstudent signed up for a låtskrivingskurs as electives.

The debut album Razor Wire earned praise from a budget unanimously kritikerskare. Stylistically applied like the expression dark Americana, but the tracks of the countrysoulen which stems from his hometown are apparent. Jason Isbell, who also has a sense of belonging in the Alabama/Tennessee-tracts is featured on the disc along with his band The 400 Unit.

And with the new, long-awaited album "Gold Rush," we'd like to say that she now has taken the step up on the throne as Muschle Shoals own Americana-queen. She shows up as a musical sister of Jason Isbell. The unmistakable southern soul-the nerve that was so evident on "Razor Wire,” is also “Gold Rush”, but has been pricked up with a rock-edge that they get ten slots to sparkle and sprake of energy, sweat and determination. A proud and uncompromising attitude permeates the entire album. Hannah Aldridge made a damn good album and she KNOWS it. Take it or leave it!
