KammeroperaUng is a Trondheim-based classical chamber ensemble consisting of 6 young singers between the ages of 20 and 30. The ensemble was established in the summer of 2023 with the intention of creating more opportunities for young classical singers and with the goal of making opera and classical music visible and accessible, especially to a young audience and new “opera friends”.

KammeroperaUng is a versatile group that has done both complete opera productions, concerts and less formal projects such as opera pubs and romance cafes. The ensemble also focuses on creating experiences with classical music and opera from a young and new perspective.

Brage is a pianist from Surnadal. He is educated at the NTNU Department of Music, and completed his bachelor's degree in 2017. He works as a freelance musician, in addition to teaching. He has worked extensively as a rehearser and accompanist on various projects and productions. In addition to working within the classical field, Brage also plays in several bands. In the summer of 2023, he was seen as an orchestra leader in the musical Lady Arbuthnott. He now works as an accompanist and piano teacher at NTNU.

The event is part of VM-FEST and supported by the Directorate of Culture and Trondheim Municipality.

The Opera Café at Rosendal was launched in 2020 in the middle of the pandemic; a collaboration with Rosendal Teater, Skeive Stemmer Operakompani, and Operavennforening. The association aims to support activities at the Opera Café at Rosendal in collaboration with Queer Voices. We create work. dialogue, and increased knowledge and interest in the art form in Trondheim and the surrounding area.
