As per tradition, His Majesty The King’s Guard presents a Grand Concert with the Guards Band at Oslo Concert Hall!

This year’s ensemble features Norway’s finest amateur musicians performing during their mandatory military service. The Guards Band is led by Music Major Sverre Stakston Olsrud, joined by Staff Sergeant Lise Solberg Nilsen, the Signal Corps instructor. Both have enjoyed distinguished careers as musicians in the Norwegian Armed Forces Bands.

The evening’s concert will feature traditional military music alongside pieces that take the audience on an emotional journey. The Drill Team will also make a memorable appearance during the performance.
