History and food from Eikaberget towards the centre (No.)

This walk will not take you very far geographically, but sweeps historically over many thousands of years of history.

From a bird's eye view, you look out over the city's newest district, Bjørvika, and get the contrast with what will be Oslo's future. The trip continues down the Ekeberg slope, still with a fantastic view that has inspired many an artist, including Edvard Munch. But the story also describes casual workers, crime and miserable living conditions in this area of Oslo. Then further down towards the medieval town and further towards the centre. Along the way, you stop as usual at pleasant, local eateries, and get to know this historic corner of Oslo even better.

The tours last for about four hours and are guided by an authorized Oslo guide. Guiding and all food is included in the price.
