It has now been more than ten years since Inge Bremnes first made his mark on the Norwegian music scene with the songs Ikaros, Meire Vi, and Himmelblå – three tracks that gave him a strong breakthrough and ensured that the small coastal municipality of Kvæfjord in Troms was no longer known only for “the world’s best cake,” but also as the birthplace of one of his generation’s leading Norwegian songwriters. With millions of streams and a steadily growing audience following him closely, both on record and from the front row at concerts, his position has only continued to strengthen.
