The traditional Advent concerts of the chamber choir Ang Passang in Bakke Church are an important meeting point for the audience who want an alternative pre-Christmas concert. For this concert, Ang Passang, as initiator and organizer, has initiated a collaboration with three talented musicians in Trondheim. The repertoire consists of well-known and unknown Advent and Christmas songs from many countries. The concert will be held on Saturday, November 29th at 5:00 PM. For this year's Advent concert, we have invited Trondheim musicians Julie and Andreas Rokseth on harp and bandoneon, respectively, and Tone Sand on flute. The musicians have prepared new arrangements especially for this ensemble. In addition, the three musicians will have their own section in the concert. The interaction with the choir, harp and bandoneon creates a unique atmosphere that suits the repertoire selection, which includes folk music from several European countries while also including the well-known Norwegian Christmas songs. We are planning a varied concert with a cappella choral singing, purely instrumental numbers and songs for choirs with accompaniment. The audience is invited to sing along. The concert will be presented by a presenter. The Ang Passang chamber choir The Ang Passang chamber choir emphasizes the social aspect of our Advent concerts, and therefore invites the audience to coffee, mulled wine and cakes, and a pleasant chat, after the concert. Tickets for the concert are sold in advance with Vipps, and in cash at the door.
