Trondheim Jazzfestival aims to present strong artistiv content with a main focus on Norwegian, Nordic and European jazz. 

Through its collaboration with NTNU, the festival is an important contributor to the continuously high-quality music environment in Trondheim.

Trondheim Jazzfestival has become a stimulating meeting place and a showcase arena for young musicians. Over the years, the festival has grown and is currently a national festival with 60-70 events.
