Joakim Solbakken: singer, songwriter, farmer and father of a toddler who makes songs in the golden moment of the moment. On the go, on the road, in the mountains, or in the barn. Joakim debuted as a solo artist with the song “Ragged” in March 2022. It was listed on NRK P1 nationally.
Joakim quoted in Hallingdølen: “You get a boost in writing when you feel a lot. Look at Johnny Cash, there is darkness and humor about each other, he says.”
In 2024, his first solo album “In the valley” was released. An album about life in a small mountain village, loneliness, glimpses of spring, the beautiful moments and going from boy to man.
As a live artist, he has years of experience from the band, Humming People.
