The story of Kings Of Convenience began when Eirik Glambek Bøe and Erlend Øye met at school in Bergen and formed the rock band Skog with some friends before breaking up a few years later and forming a duo in 1999. Kings Of Convenience was a fact and quickly established themselves as pioneers of a new wave of intimate, acoustic music. Since then, they have offered us beautiful harmonies and low-key moods that few other artists have been able to match, releasing several critically acclaimed albums and touring all over the world for a dedicated fanbase.

In the summer of 2021, Kings Of Convenience released their fourth studio album, "Peace Or Love", to rave reviews, a release that sent them on a nearly three-year journey to concert halls and festivals around the globe. Rumor has it that they are currently recording what will be their fifth album, but now they are taking a well-deserved break from studio work and embarking on a small tour with selected stops around the world, and we at Byscenen are lucky to be one of the selected places!
