Kings of Convenience
Norwegian Kings of Convenience are known for their beautiful harmonies and intimate, acoustic songs.
Get tickets hereThe story of Kings of Convenience began when Eirik Glambek Bøe and Erlend Øye met at school in Bergen and formed the rock band Skog with some friends. A few years later, they broke away and formed a duo in 1999. With that, Kings of Convenience was born, quickly establishing themselves as pioneers of a new wave of intimate, acoustic music.
Since then, they have gifted us with beautiful harmonies and understated moods that few other artists have matched, released several critically acclaimed albums, and toured the world for a dedicated fanbase.
In the summer of 2021, Kings of Convenience released their fourth studio album, Peace or Love, to glowing reviews—a record that sent them on an almost three-year journey through concert halls and festivals across the globe.
Rumour has it they are currently working on their fifth album, but for now, they’re taking a well-earned break from the studio and heading out on a short tour!
