Would you like to try working with clay? This course is suitable for everyone – no prior experience is required. The instructor will guide you step by step, from a lump of clay to a finished cup or bowl.

The course lasts three hours and takes place on Tuesdays from 18:00–21:00 or Saturdays from 12:00–15:00. We work in small groups of 6–15 participants, ensuring that everyone receives close follow‑up.

Adults: 800 NOK

Students/Seniors: 600 NOK

During the course, you will learn which clay we use, how to build small objects using a simple technique, and how to create a smooth finish. After the course, the pieces are left to dry and then fired in a bisque firing (about 3 weeks). Afterwards, they need to be glazed – you can choose to join a glazing course and glaze them yourself, or we can do it for you. The glazing course is included in the price.

Once the pieces are glazed and fired, you can collect your finished ceramic treasures at our workshop. The glazes we use are food‑safe and dishwasher‑safe.

The course also gives you an introduction to how our workshop operates, so you will have the knowledge you need to join our open workshop sessions on your own if you wish.

✨ It is possible to register a youth aged 16+ at the student price, provided they attend together with an adult who is also enrolled in the course.
