Kristian Lindberg has explored the piano by imitating the symphony orchestra, known as an orchestral style of play. An important part of his research project has also been to determine what pianists may learn from studying other instruments, and how these insights may be translated into piano play.
At this concert, he will share some reflections around his work process, and convey the main tenets of his research project (in Norwegian).
Johann Sebastian Bach (1685–1750): Concerto in D major (after Vivaldi)
J.S. Bach: Italian concerto in F major
Igor Stravinskij (1882–1971): Serenade in A major
