Langesund International Shanty Festival

Langesund has developed into an international meeting place for individual singers and choirs in the shanty genre. 

For the 28th time, the Langesund International Shanty Festival will declare the summer open in Langesund with entertainment, singing, and music.

The Langesund International Shanty Festival is held every year on the first weekend of June. Choirs and groups from near and far come together for a maritime festival in Langesund.

The festival is one of the larger events of the summer in Bamble municipality and is part of the Skagerak Festivals.
