"Trallpunk's number one standard bearer" was what someone called Lastkaj 14 back in 2017. With the last six years of persistent touring, energetic live concerts, and the recurring fiery speeches about trallpunk, equality and solidarity, there are probably few who do not agree with that statement today.

In 2024, Lastkaj 14 will release not one but two new records! First, the EP "Trallkrucifixet" is released in the spring and later in September the album "Djävulskorset" is released. Of course, this will be framed with a tour that starts on March 29th and then continues throughout the year. New material in combination with almost six months absence from the stage means that the desire to play and the pep are at a maximum!

Lastkaj 14 has always followed its own musical path, but always with one foot firmly in the thrallpunk pot. If anyone thinks that the quartet on upcoming records has stuck to safe routines and repetitions, let them salute the following:

"When it feels like the world is getting crazier, colder, more uncertain and crooked every day, it's just as well to write a musical play about the misery. If the truth, insights and reality hurt too much – Put on your clown nose and sing it with a song.”
