Espen Wensaas and Bjørn Kåre Odde have set a new standard for the interaction between guitar and fiddle in the face of the slåtte music from Gudbrandsdalen over the past four years. The starting point is the good melodies and effective arrangement methods that build on the originality of each slåtte. It is unhurried, straightforward and danceable, and both instruments are equal.
Their first album, Lilleslåtter from 2022, was nominated for the Folkelarmprisen in the Traditional Interplay category.
