We at Cantus invite you and yours to a warm and atmospheric Lucia concert when we, together with the 5th grade at Tonstad School and pianist Maria Næss, fill Vår Frue Church with glowing lights and beautiful singing. Join us and get your Lucia morning off to a good start with us.

This year there will be 2 Lucia morning concerts on Saturday, December 13th:

First concert starts at 08:00

Second concert starts at 09:30

Doors open 30 minutes before the concert starts.

Maria Næss Maria Næss is a trained pianist from the Music Conservatory in Trondheim, which is now called the NTNU Department of Music. She has extensive experience as a pianist, accompanist, repetiteur and piano teacher. On several occasions she has been a helpful accompanist for Cantus, and again this year we are lucky to have her with us on Lucia morning.

Tonstad School It is a long tradition that is continued when the 5th grade at Tonstad School sings together with Cantus on Lucia morning in Vår Frue Church. What is Lucia without children walking in a Lucia train with glitter and lights?
