The concert is a collaboration between the Olavsdagene på Avaldsnes-festival, Norwegian Youth Chamber Music Festival and Karmøy municipality's Cultural Department.

Bodil Victoria Arnesen, soprano, has toured Japan, Germany, UK, Spain and the US as soloist with various ensembles and orchestras. In addition to Norwegian concert halls, she has also been featured at Wigmore Hall, Lincoln Center New York, Suntory Hall Japan, Musica del Palau Spain, and Bavarian Staatstheater in Munich.

Laurens Weinhold (b. 1994), violin, received his magister artium with top grades at Universitet für Musik und darstellende Kunst i Wien. He has received several top prizes in prestigious competitionsn.

Professor Erling R. Eriksen, piano, is based at the University of Stavanger. From 2009-2013 he was also professor at Barratt Due Musikkinstitutt in Oslo. He has performed in several Europeand cities, as well as in USA, Canada, Japan and Kina. Eriksen is a much sought-after accompanist for singers, including Elizabeth Norberg-Schulz, Ann-Beth Solvang, Bodil Arnesen og Eir InderhaugHe received his education at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover with professors Einar Steen-Nøkleberg and Hans Leygraf, and Hochschule für Musik München with professor Alfons Kontarsky.

Olavsdagene på Avaldsnes takes place 3rd-31th of July at the Church of St Olav's, Avaldsnes. www.avaldsneskirke.no
