MÍO "Restless folk rock from and for a chaotic world, breaking all boundaries!" (Dagsavisen, 2023) MÍO has in a short time made its mark as one of the underground's greatest live experiences. With roots in the punk and rock scene in Oslo, the band has made an impression throughout the country at everything from Midgardsblot to the Telemark Festival with its groundbreaking folk rock.

The music draws rich inspiration from Norwegian rock, punk and folk music. Hard-hitting and dynamic with fuzzed fiddle playing and a large arsenal of folk instruments from around the world. With a front vocalist with raw vocal power and gripping communication skills, in close collaboration with a rock-solid, playful and energetic band, the result is an unforgettable powerhouse.

The band's first album "Ingen tid å miste" was released in 2023, and received rave reviews both at home and abroad, and was awarded 1st place by The Nordic Sound as "Best Nordic Release".

In the spring of 2025, the long-awaited second album "Hva nå?" will be released on By Norse Music. There, MÍO takes their music in a darker, more somber and harder direction than before - characterized by an uncertain, heavy and difficult time, which is reflected in an album that trembles with frustration, anger and apathy in a modern folk rock costume. MÍO's musical world and their live performances can be called a "phenomenon" that must be experienced live - join the adventure!

Nagirčalmmiid: Nagirčalmmiid plays doom metal, but done their way. Here it goes in everything from heavy and tough riffs, blast beats, melancholic chords with a sprinkle of post-hardcore, the speed of punk and tasteful joik topped with noise. The concerts can be described as “two punks who happen to play doom”, so don't expect your eyes turned down and standing still in one place. The band has played on By:larm, Inferno, Øya and Midgardsblot, among others.
