Martin Sued is a young bandoneonist and composer from Argentina who explores new ways of reinventing the tango. He has several collaboration with big artists, including Milton Nascimento, Gilberto Gil, Zeca Pagodinho and Yamandú Costa, under his belt.
At Riksscenen in Oslo, Sued will be accompanied by a band of renowned Argentinian musicians who live in the Netherlands, and who all share Martin's vision of let elements from other genres – the freedom of jazz, the curiosity of contemporary music and the intensity of rock – benefit the tango.
Martin Sued – bandoneon, Adan Mizrahi – double bass, Guillermo Celano – guitar, Natalio Sued – bass clarinet, Marcos Baggiani – drums
Hanne Tveter and Pepe Rivero, two strong musicians on song and piano respectively, meet in the duo concept «CubaNoruega» where Norwegian and Cuban traditional music unite. The repertoire spans from boleros and folk songs to jazzed-up Grieg and catchy Latin arrangements.
Hanne Tveter – vocals, Pepe Rivero – piano
