A silence behind the silence. The silence when you are so high up in the mountains at night that the only sound you hear is the sound of your own heartbeat. Maybe it ends with togetherness, singing by the fire. Or maybe it never ends. What happens if there is no end. A process. A performance. Prehaps it continues because everyone has something to hold on to.
This is a time not yet imagined. We can practice, we can prepare for the unexpected. How to die is a multidisciplinary exploration of ecological grief, cultural panic and the feeling of collapse.
This performance is part of Oslo International Theatre Festival, and is a collaboration between Dansens Hus and Black Box Theatre.
