Autumn concert in Skjellesvik Hermetikkfabrikk. Music in Nordland has the slogan; Great experiences in small places. This time we have joined the "list" and look forward to hosting a concert with Grieg's string quartet.

Grieg's string quartet was a groundbreaking work and attracted much attention from many contemporary composers.
Grieg was quite open about what the drama in the music represented: a struggle and an adaptation of big questions in the music - and in life. The quartet is a work with a lot of emotions and should be experienced "live".
The program also includes a string quartet written by the northern Norwegian composer Fritdhjov Anderssen, who lived at the same time and in the "shadow" of Grieg. Anderssen is often referred to as "Northern Norway's Grieg".
