Musical respite with ImPrint
During Romjula, we organize "musical respites" in Vår Frue church every day at 2:00 p.m. The concerts have free entry.
On Thursday 28 December, ImPrint will:
ImPrint is a musical duo consisting of lutenist Christine Gebs and organist Mikael Maliks, who combine their own improvisation with a wide repertoire from all ages and genres. They both study at the NTNU Department of Music. Christine has worked with lute and guitar for 20 years and deals with early music, while Mikael has a background as a composing organist, constantly looking for new opportunities for expression in both older and newer music. They also perform commissioned compositions and arrangements for various musical occasions.
The program on 28 December consists of both solo and chamber music, and ranges from Spanish Renaissance via German Late Romanticism to Norwegian pop music and, of course, Christmas carols.
