For a number of years, the Trondheim Soloists have performed New Year's concerts in the region, and in 2025 the orchestra will once again come to Støren. This time with Ragnhild Hemsing as soloist!

At the concert, Ragnhild Hemsing explores Grieg's world-famous music with both Harding fiddle and violin in a unique arrangement that has attracted international attention.
Ragnhild tells about the project:
"Edvard Grieg himself has said that his Peer Gynt music is inspired by Norwegian folk music. With that in mind, my desire with this project has been to penetrate deeper into the sound world of Peer Gynt's music and explore the exciting intersection between folk music and classical music .”

At the concert, we will also hear the Trondheim Soloists perform other works, and the concert opens with a fireworks display of a piece with Jessie Montgomery's "Starburst"!
