On November 26th, nyMusikk Trondheim and nyMusikk's composer group invite you to a concert with Fukuhara Sawako and NMK: six new works for koto.

Fukuhara Sawako is a leading figure in Ikuta-ryu, one of the main traditions of koto with a focus on instrumental music. She is equally involved in contemporary music as she is in Japanese folk music, and also works with classical, modern Japanese and Indian music. She has toured Asia, Europe and America several times, and is actively premiering new works. Composers she has collaborated with include Noriko Nakamura, John Kaizain Neptune, Tadao Sawai, and Keigo Fujii.
