One of the world's best live bands, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, will be returning to Oslo Spektrum this autumn with a new album. The last time they were in Norway, they played a magnificent and critically acclaimed concert at Øyafestivalen in 2022.

Formed in 1983, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds are one of the most original and recognised bands in post-punk and alternative rock. With Cave's dark lyrics and huge stage persona, combined with a physically and emotionally powerful sound, they possess a dynamic and drama that sets them apart from everyone else. And they just keep getting better and better.

The tour follows the release of the band's 18th studio album 'Wild God', due on 30 August. Recently, the first taste of the highly anticipated album was released, in the form of the title track.

'Wild God' was produced by Cave and Warren Ellis, and mixed by David Fridmann. On ten tracks, the band dances between convention and experimentation. They take left turns and detours that enhance the rich imagery and emotion of Cave's captivating narratives. There are moments that touch on the Bad Seeds' past, but they are fleeting and only serve to emphasise the band's relentless and restless journey towards new goals.

Support this evening is Dry Cleaning.
