Our introductory class starts 31 May - 1 June from 10.00 - 15.00

Course fee: NOK 1800,- The fee includes membership in Nidaros Roklubb for the first year.

Admission requirements for the introductory course; you must be over 18 years old, and able to swim.

Rowing is a fantastic sport for those who love nature and enjoy socializing just as much as exercising. 

As a participant in our rowing school, you will receive practical instructions in rowing technique, commands, maneuvering and a review of safety rules. After part 1 of the course (weekend), you participate in rowing for beginners for four Tuesdays in June, after this you can start rowing with experienced rowers, so that you become confident in practical rowing. 

Schedule lessons for beginners this season are Tuesday 3, 10, 17 and 24 June at 6 pm, and together with experienced rowers on Thursdays at 18.00 and Saturdays at 10.00. 

When you have participated in club rowing 10 times, you will receive a course certificate for passing Rowing School.

Rowing is a sport that suits all ages.  Nidaros Rowing Club does not compete, our main goal is excercising and spending a social time together. Some of our members have been competitive rowers in the past, but most started rowing in adulthood. Our club members are between 18 – 70+ years, both women and men from all over the world. 

Nidaros Rowing Club's ambition is to be a sports team that offers adults rowing experience and the unity of a club. We want to make rowing a lifelong sport and contribute to better public health. The club environment is open and inclusive.
