Norges Ungdomskor - Summer tour


Norges Ungdomskor, The Norwegian Youth Choir, is following the tradition of a summer tour this year as well, and this time they are touring Norway!

The tour ends with a concert in the Oslo Cathedral.

Norwegian Youth Choir (NUK)
is a project choir that was founded by Carl Høgset and Joar Rørmark in 1987, and is now run by Ung i Kor with support from the Cultural Council and Sparebankstiftelsen. The choir has won a number of awards in international competitions, and works to develop young, talented singers through inspiring conductors, challenging repertoire and participation in festivals and competitions.

Nina T. Karlsen
Nina is a trained conductor, singer and church musician at the Norwegian Academy of Music. In 2010, she completed her master's degree in conducting with an exam concert with the Norwegian Soloists' Choir. She has been cantor in Tønsberg Cathedral since 2012, and has been employed as conductor and artistic director of Ensemble 96 since the autumn of 2011. In the autumn of 2020, she will start as a university lecturer and doctoral scholar in artistic development work at the Norwegian Academy of Music.
