Norwegian women's history in 90 minutes

Finally, Norwegian women will be at the center of Norwegian history. It is probably men who dominate the history books, and who have streets and places named after them. Here is the history of Norway from a women's perspective!

Women's lives have changed at a revolutionary pace over the past 150 years. Yet it is men who dominate the history books and get their statues. Journalist and author Hege Duckert finally puts women at the center and describes Norwegian women's history as it has never been told before. We meet those who fought for independence and the right to vote, but Duckert also describes the plight of everyday women and tells exciting stories about the heroes you have not heard of.

Why do we celebrate the polar explorers Nansen and Amundsen, but not the health pioneers Elise Ottesen-Jensen and Katti Anker Møller. Why do we hear about the Heavy Water Operation, but not about the Match Workers' Strike?
