Ola Kvernberg's Steamdome is back with a new album and is touring in 2021.

Ola Kvernberg's Steamdome has established itself as one of Norway's major live attractions. The band's first album "Steamdome" released in 2017 got nominated for a Spellemann award (the Norwegian GRAMMYs) and reached the top 10 of best-selling vinyl records in Norway in 2018.

Steamdome is pure percussive music and vapors of visual energy. In addition to Ola Kvernberg himself on fiddle, viola etc., Steamdome consists of drummers Erik Nylander (Mechanical Fair, Liarbird), Olaf Olsen (BigBang, Todd Terje & The Olsens) and Martin Windstad (Odd Nordstoga, Jarle Bernhoft, etc.), bassist Nikolai Hængsle (BigBang, Elephant9, Band of Gold ), guitarist and all-rounder Øyvind Blomstrøm (Orions Belte, Odd Nordstoga, Stein Torleif Bjella) and organist Daniel Buner Formo (Trondheim Jazz Orchestra, Kobert, Formo Tre & Metall).
