The singers met while studying at the music conservatory in Trondheim. Afterwards, both have taken the trip across the border and immersed themselves in opera at the opera academies in Stockholm and Gothenburg, respectively. Now they have finally returned to where it all began!

The duo will bring a varied program with personal favorites from opera and romance literature to Rosendal.

Anne Birgitte B. Røkke, dramatic mezzo

is a graduate of NTNU's Music Institute, the Oslo Opera Academy  and the Gothenburg Academy of Performing Arts,  completing her Master's  in opera -spring 2023.

Spring In 2022 she made her debut as Ernesto in Haydn's "Il mondo della luna" with the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra and opera in the Polish city of Lodz. Other engagements include Donna Elvira in Opera Warberg's "Don Giovanni" by Mozart and Spoletta on tour with the Skånska Operan in Puccini's "Tosca". During her studies, she has performed the title role in Carmen on tour with the Arctic Philharmonic in collaboration with KhiO, Ottone in "The Coronation of Poppea" by Monteverdi and Hans in Humperdinck's "Hansel and Gretel", as a final part of her master's studies.

Sigrid Vetleseter Bøe, soprano

Sigrid is a graduate of the Stockholm Academy of the Arts, who had her big breakthrough in Sweden in the role of Helena in the acclaimed production of Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream at Malmö Opera in 2021. During New Year's week, Sigrid sang Rosalinda in Die Fleders Concert production in Die Fleders Kons. This spring, Sigrid returned to the Royal Stockholm Opera to sing a Blumenmädschen in Wagner's Parsifal.

Since then, she has appeared as Musetta in La Boheme at the Royal Stockholm Opera, First Lady in Die Zauberflöte on the same stage, Donna Elvira in Opera Warberg's production of Don Giovanni, Pamina in Die Zauberflöte at Opera Setra, Sylvia Varescu in Csardasfyrstinnen at Kristiansund Opera and a sensational performance of Lady Macbeth in Läckö20's acclaimed summer production at Läckö-

Knut Erik Jensen pianist

He has been the regular pianist for Operakafé at Rosendal since it opened in 2020.

He is a university lecturer at NTNU, Department of Music, head of the piano class at the Saturday school, Trondheim Kulturskole and has a rich freelance career. He has a Masters from NTNU in performing piano.

He has been a popular pianist in Norway for many years, in opera as an accompanist and repetiteur, and as a chamber musician and soloist.
