Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra celebrates summer and kicks off the fall season with a free outdoor concert in front of the Royal Palace. The programme includes George Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue and music from Leonard Bernstein's West Side Story, with bold rhythms, hot musical melodies and cool jazz sounds. The concert is conducted by Gershwin expert Wayne Marshall, and the Canadian soprano Measha Bruegergosman is the soloist this evening. The concert is free of charge.
