Ottorpedo Med Venner is Otto Egil Sætre’s expanded solo project, where he surrounds himself with musicians even more talented than himself, allowing him to shine in the spotlight.

The band specializes in songs about relatively dark themes like depression, lost love, and more—lightly masked with a veil of humor. Expect songs about cakes, coffee makers, sauces, cucumbers—and even a “sugar tax blues.”

The album Ottorpedo Med Venner was released in 2016 and featured 30 guest artists from bands such as Seigmen, Maroder, Helheim, Tusmørke, and more. The second album is set to be recorded in October and released in March next year.
