Our food is our medicine - gluten-free course
This course is part of the official program for the Trøndelag Food Festival 2025.
Getting diagnosed with celiac disease can be challenging for many and a bumpy journey. Through the course, you will be taken on a journey that will make everyday life easier for a life with celiac disease. Get basic tips and advice for success with gluten-free baking. Both for everyday life and parties!
There will be an hour with a strong focus on children with celiac disease to give parents the tools to be able to cook food that keeps their children both healthy and gives them joy in life.
There will be gluten-free snacks.
About the course leader:
Øyvind Engen has run the Cøliakikokken since 2015. Øyvind has previously given lectures at the food festival in 2017, as well as a pizza course in 2018. Since then, he has published 2 gluten-free baking books, the first of which has sold over 5,000 copies.
He has also held baking courses for over 1,500 people throughout the country, making him one of the people in Norway who has held baking courses for the most people.
