Porsgrunn International Theatre festival (PIT) takes place in Porsgrunns intimate atmosphere, with Grenland Friteater - one of Norway oldest group of theaters - as host. The entire city of Porsgrunn is used with scenes both indoors and outdoors.
The festival is a meeting point between theater and society, between popular and avant-garde theater and between Norway and Europe.
The festival includes a program includes conferences, a children's program and a large number of performances.
