Welcome to our PRAXIS classes in autumn 2024 for performing artists, people with movement experience, and everyone interested in movements and objects.
PRAXIS with Anne-Marit Sæther Wednesdays 13.11 - 20.11 - 27.11.2024 at 9-11 at DansiT (Strandveien 33, Trondheim) 

In these three classes, I want to work on the relationship between the stage actors' body and
materials/figures/objects.
We will look for, and become aware of, how objects and figures can influence the actor/dancer
movements. How can an object be in dialogue with a character?
We will examine how every physical material/object has its own energy and
possibility of movement. How can the object live its own life? How do we become more conscious of the use
of props? What is the difference between animation and manipulation?
There will be both individual work and group work.

Bio: Anne Marit has worked for 40 years at Cirka Teater, both as a playwright/director and an actor, and has created over 50 productions.
