Join us for a very special evening at Åsane Kulturhus! Auntie G and Markus Kinell are playing a concert together for the very first time, accompanied by Auntie G's regular live band. There will be magical moments, raw energy and a mix of songs that will hit the heart! ✨

In recent years, Gjertrud Coutinho has thrilled us with music that has been noticed both nationally and internationally. In 2023, she was nominated in the category "Best International Female" at the Radio WigWam Awards in England.

For the past two years, she has collaborated with the Swedish guitarist and producer Markus Kinell, and at this concert they will perform together live for the very first time! Together, they have released a number of singles and an EP in the genre of "melodic hard rock", and the concert will offer a hand full of these songs, as well as some of Auntie G's previous country songs. This will be a rare opportunity to experience the unique energy with both Auntie G and Markus on stage.

Auntie G offers personal and inspiring lyrics, woven together with small talk that creates a close and warm atmosphere. As she says in one of her songs: "It's not about the final goal, but who you meet along the road."

The band consists of:

Markus Kinell on guitar, (on 5-6 songs)
Ulf Skjoldhammer on guitar,
Johannes Melbøe on keys / accordion / pedal steel,
Trond Håkon Sandvoll on bass and
Ole Ekroll on drums.

How to get to Åsane Kulturhus:

Åsane Kulturhus can be found right next to Åsane Church. (The concert is held in "Multisalen")

By bus:
Take the bus to Åsane Terminal. Go into the shopping center and go straight ahead. When you come out at the other end, you will see Åsane Chruch and a just behind, you will see Åsane Kulturhus. It takes you 5 minutes to walk from the terminal!

Parking:
There is a large parking lot at Åsane Storsenter, right next to the venue. Parking at Åsane Storsenter are charged with normal rates.

Price: NOK 250 (tickets in advance on Hoopla.no. Only Vipps at the door.)
