Based in Stavanger, Norway, Purified in Blood is known for their unique blend of metal and hardcore. Since their inception in 2003, they have released several critically acclaimed albums. Their powerful stage presence and relentless energy have earned them a dedicated fan base worldwide.

After over a decade of silence, the unstoppable force Purified in Blood is back with their long-awaited new album, “Primal Pulse Thunder”. The album will be released on March 14th, 2025 via Indie Recordings and marks the triumphant comeback of the Norwegian metal titans, who now deliver their heaviest and most aggressive work ever. “Primal Pulse Thunder” takes listeners on an intense journey, where brutal hardcore elements merge with thunderous metal riffs. The album showcases the band's evolution while remaining true to the primal energy that has made them a household name in the global metal and hardcore scene.

The title track, “Primal Pulse Thunder”, sets the tone for the entire album – an unstoppable, pulsating force that hits like a sledgehammer. Other highlights include “Krater”, “Jernbur” and the crushing epic “Portal”. This album demonstrates a band that has only grown stronger through their hiatus, and is now channeling their raw power into a cohesive and explosive new sound.

Commenting on the new album, the band says: “After 12 years, the pulse beats stronger than ever. The album was recorded in an old, abandoned mental hospital in Sandnes, Rogaland with Arvid Tjelta behind the controls. It was mixed and mastered at Antfarm Studio by metal master Tue Madsen.
