Putti Plutti Pott and Santa's magic beard // Olavshallen
There was once a little elf called Putti Plutti Pott - Putti after his great-grandfather and Plutti after his great-great-grandfather - and Pott as a surname. But what was so extra fun with little Putti Plutti Pott is his grandfather, because he is Santa Claus himself. And now you're going to hear how Putti Plutti Pott came to meet Petter and little Caroline, who are quite ordinary human children like you, and how the whole of Nisseland was turned upside down - and that was only as far as Santa Claus got away to all kind children on Christmas Eve.
It was an evening just before Christmas. It had snowed heavily all day, and everything had become so soft and nice and quiet, with exciting blue shadows in the pale moonlight. Inside the living room it was safe and sound, and a big fire crackled and crackled festively in the fireplace. Petter and Caroline had helped their mother bake syrup nibs, and now they sat quite full and satisfied around the rose-painted grand piano and listened to Uncle Per, who played and sang and told a wonderful Christmas adventure - about a wonderful journey across all blues.
- Do you want to join? - said Uncle Per.
- Yes, answered the children, we would be more than happy to.
- So hang with me, said Uncle Per. And then he sang: "If you want to join then hang with me, the Christmas adventure awaits you. We're going…”
Now, this is how the Christmas adventure begins. Soon after, Putti Plutti Pott appears in the middle of Uncle Per's living room, and we get to join Uncle Per, Putti, Petter and little Caroline on an exciting, fun and adventurous journey to Nisseland.
We will not reveal more here. You can experience the whole Christmas adventure at the Christmas performances in Olavshallen. On stage, 30-40 local children play, sing and dance, such as Putti Plutti Pott, Petter and little Caroline, big and small gnomes and prancing reindeer, together with adult professional actors and dancers.
If you want to join, hang on!
