TrondheimFOLK is celebrating 10 years as an organizer and on this occasion we are pleased to invite you to a great anniversary weekend, September 5th and 6th. We start the anniversary weekend by welcoming Ravelender, our fresh nightclub concept. Here it will be hot and sweaty, with the most fantastic dance music folk music-Norway has to offer!

Even fresher than the nightclub is tonight's artist! As an anniversary gift, we (and you) have received a group that delivers Røros-produced local rave: Westberg and the polsgroovers! The group is made up of the best pols players Røros has to offer. Tron Steffen Westberg has brought along Ole Erik Feragen and Jørgen Nyrønning on fiddle, Per Ivar Tamnes on guitar and Håvard Dahl on drums, and this star team of some pols players delivers! There will be great beats in the best folk music way: raw, close, trance-inducing and not least, fun!!! 

DJ Nedrebø Kulturformidling, also known as Ingrid Nedrebø aka Norway's oldest youth, is both hostess and DJ when Ravelender goes off the rails. With experience as a music producer at NRK and many years active in the folk music community, Nedrebø takes her job as a folk music curator seriously. On the occasion of the anniversary, she has also put together a fun quiz - come and learn, laugh and be amazed by curious facts and myths about the folk tradition.

Dance instructor Bergitte Kjosvatn guides you through the rave moves of the old times at tonight's crash course in traditional rørospols (included in admission). Perfect for those who want to explore how quirky beats and suggestive trad.music can be translated into floating, rhythmic dance steps! Welcome to Ravelender!
