Relay for Life Trondheim
Cancer Society's Relay for Life is taking place for the fourth time in Trondheim!
The relay is a tribute to all those affected by cancer and a great opportunity to remember those we have lost.
At Finalebanen by St. Olavs hospital, preparations are underway for us to walk, run, or roll together for a whole day - to show that there should always be someone on the track for those who are sick.
A whole day? Yes, but only one person from each team needs to be on the track at any given time (though it's nicest if more people walk together). There are no requirements for fitness or functional level. This is an event for EVERYONE!
Sign up as a family, friend, school, workplace, or association. Form a team to honor someone you want to pay tribute to, or simply to support the cause.
And even though the backdrop of the relay is serious, this day is filled with joy, laughter, music, and entertainment - just like a festival!
It is also possible to just drop by the event without being registered to enjoy all the fun happening at the arena. There will be entertainment for both young and old. Some highlights to look forward to are the light ceremony and “FuckCancer” bead crafting.
