A theater performance about upbringing, passion and true love.
- I've always loved my daddy. But I do not remember a single forest trip or a fishing trip. No common dinners. What I miss is to talk football with him. The many short calls until the start of the match, the text messages in the break, the longer talk after the match.
Actor Ole Christian Gullvåg is passionate about football, and none of his actor friends can understand why he "throws away" so much time on the round ball. "Helt hekta!" is Gullvåg's own story, a theater performance about putting soccer in front of everything else. But like most stories of passion, is not "Helt hekta!" just about soccer. "Helt hekta!" is also a touching and fun upbringing story, a king of mix of Nick Hornby and Tore Renberg. About being at their first football match, about loving Elvis and freeing Cecilie Leganger when you are 11 years old and wondering if your mother will die because you have spilled reddish brown on the carpet. Gullvåg tells about the upbringing, finding oneself, sibling love, the bad mood between parents and the dream of belonging to a flock. But first and foremost, this is a football story. A true love story.
The theater performance was premiere in spring 2018 with the title Rotsekk.
