The Christmas tour "RINGE IN" enters its third year in 2024, and we can now call it a tradition. As in 2024, the tour will start in Finnmark – the first concert will be held in Alta on November 29. There will be both familiar and new stops along the way, from the far north in Alta to southern Drammen.

"Ringe inn" is the title of the Christmas album they released together on November 12, 2021, inspired by the church bells ringing in Christmas, and a desire for everyone to feel welcome when the world is both at its darkest and its brightest at the same time.

Lars and Maria will travel to cultural venues across the country with their regular band, featuring some of the country's best musicians, to create a Christmas atmosphere from north to south with both original songs and well-known Christmas classics, including those you can listen to on "Ringe inn" on streaming platforms.

The magic glitter of Christmas falls annually on both the sacred and the commercial, on celebrations and loneliness, on children's expectations and adults' disappointments. Through the songs in the concert, you will meet characters ranging from the waiter at the Christmas party, to the bullfinch that doesn’t like the Christmas feed, to the baby Jesus in a parking garage. The folk legends Terje Nilsen and Jan Arvid Johansen from the north are also represented. In line with the album’s title, a bright and silver-sounding version of the classic "Kimer I Klokker" will also be performed.

Stein Austrud is the musical director for the concert and was also involved in producing Lars and Maria's beautiful Christmas album of the same name. A multi-instrumentalist, Stein is known for incorporating rare instruments to create a unique sound. He also releases music under his own name and works closely with other artists and bands such as Mari Boine, Ole Edvard Antonsen, and more. He has shaped Christmas concerts for 30 years, including the former success "Hanne & Tre Tenorer."

Hugo Risdal, who plays guitar and other string instruments, was born and raised in the deep forests of Agder, and has made a name for himself as a performing guitarist over the last 15 years. He has worked with a wide range of Norwegian and international artists and is often seen performing in large TV productions where music takes center stage.

The concert is organized by Heartbeat AS and Skyskraper Artist, who, in proud collaboration, are looking forward to taking this show on the road.
